Review of Scarface (1932) by Drew P — 14 May 2014
"Scarface" is a work of cinema that (like few other films can claim) was beyond its time. The motion picture, starring Al Pacino in the lead role, is so iconic, so influential, and so interesting that it's amazing that we (the audience) were able to get the quality product that we got in 1983.
Who doesn't know a line or two from this movie? "Scarface" breaks past the most barriers that a film possibly can with such ease that it makes me wonder why I should even continue this review.
