Review of Scarface (1932) by Jacob B — 10 Jun 2018
With its memorable quotes, Al Pacino's amazing performance as he plays a character who starts out as a guy who dreams big before ultimately taking a level in jerkass BIG TIME ultimately leading to his downfall and it's mix of strong violence and profanity, the latter of which is even lampshaded by Michelle Pfeiffer's character, you can see why Scarface was influential on gangster films of the future and pop culture in general.
A solid three hours of entertainment that shows that, in the end, crime ultimately doesn't pay. Seriously, Tony Montana becomes scary by the time he believes that "the world is his".
