Review of Scanners (1981) by Danny M — 20 May 2008
I can't decide whether the hero is just a bad actor, or whether he is being intentionally unemotive. Either way, Patrick McGoohan has the coolest speaking voice ever, and Michael Ironside - who looks slightly like Jack Nicholson - gives one of the most intriguingly badass villains ever.
And, of course, he can make your head a splode.
