Review of Scanners (1981) by Aaron E — 26 Jul 2008
I liked the idea better than the finished product. It was obviously a product of this time, but there is enough in this movie besides an exploding head to enjoy if you aren't bothered by camp. I loved Michael Ironside in this.
The movie is troubled by some serious pacing issues, and a muddled plot, but there is some freaky stuff in it to get you by.
