I just rewatched this for the first time since it originally came out, and I totally forgot about the head exploding scene being early on in the movie; that I jumped so high, I almost hit the ceiling. I think for an era with old-style box computers, they really did a decent job with the special effects.
Michael Ironside is ice-cold greatness in this excellent Cronenberg movie. Great revisit.
