Review of Scanners (1981) by Joshua H — 19 Jan 2012
Though the poor script and acting are big problems, the interesting premise, great gore effects, and memorable finale make it definitely worth seeing. This movie was disappointing, though, as it does not match up to the brilliance of Cronenberg's other films such as Videodrome and Dead Ringers.
