Review of Say It Isn't So (2001) by Gustav W — 15 Jul 2011
This is a painstakingly bad film. I can usually enjoy a Farrelly brothers film, just appreciate the sheer madness and accept the odd bad joke among the collection of silly and fun ones. This is only produced by the brothers, not written or directed by them, but it's definitely trying to be in their trademark territory. The main difference is that 90% of the jokes here are dull, flat and just plain bad, with the exception of a couple of horribly off-putting ones where both tact and taste have been long forgotten, making you regret you ever pushed play.
Bottom line: Just don't, it's not worth knowing if it is or isn't so.
