Uplifting and filled with a colorful palette of emotions, "Say Anything..." is exciting, cute, and packs a hefty punch as a well-designed romantic comedy. This film is also full of interesting and densely written characters, particularly Cusack, who really shines and his awkward nervousness feels more humorous and genuine than it does forced.
