Review of Saw V (2008) by Tamatai N — 08 Jun 2010
A vast improvement from the previous two installments a a decent continuation of the epic, twisting saga that is the Saw franchise. As with any of the Saw films, there tend to be tiny flaws and missed beats that sometimes let this installment down somewhat.
However, I found the storyline and plot twists to be right on the money and the traps to be suitably gruesome and, shall-we-say, educational for the characters involved. Sure, haters gonna hate (most notably critics), but fuck them.
Saw still has a lot of life in it yet.
