Review of Saw V (2008) by Simon T — 26 Feb 2018
A step up from the dismal Saw IV, if only because the acting and direction is better, and the ludicrous plotting at least makes a bit of sense. It's still gross stuff, delighting in torture and nihilism.
But as this franchise continues the convolutions the plotting has to embrace make plausibility a complete no no.
