Review of Saw V (2008) by James M — 18 Oct 2010

Good but probably the worst of the series so far. The gore is as always excellent and the traps are well designed even if there didnt feel like there was as many. I felt it did a good job joining up some of the loose ends and it tied in with the previous films nicely.

I didnt like how sharply it ended, it was too obvious they were waiting for the next film. I also really dislike the Hoffman character as the lead. Hes a poor actor with little charisma and spends most of his time pouting.

Who thought it was a good idea to pin the franchise on him needs put in the pendulum trap! Decent watch but nothing special.
