Review of Saw IV (2007) by Tom R — 28 Oct 2010
If there's one thing I have learned about the Saw franchise, they have no problem killing off characters. Anyway, the movie is not as good as Saw II or III, but it was still worth seeing as the traps are inventive as ever and the twist at the end gives you more questions than answers, but will most likely be addressed in the inevitable sequel.
One complaint: it seems like they relied a little too much on CG blood, where in the previous movies, it looked gruesome and real... not that Saw IV doesn't look gruesome or real. It's very gruesome, especially in the beginning autopsy scene.
