Review of Saw III (2006) by Molly F — 17 Nov 2011
The accomplice idea doesn't work for me, and is this film's great weakness. JIGSAW is cleverer than this. Certainly the most shocking installment, so worth a look just for the F/X. III is Better than IV, but not as good as II.
Tobin Bell puts in a powerful performance, it's just a shame the script is a little weak, and the ending far too complicated - an unfortunate foreshadowing of things to come.
