Review of Saw (2003) by Austin R — 12 Jun 2015
James Wan and Leigh Whannell team up for this chilling, psychological horror thriller. Two people are chained to pipes in a bathroom and through flashbacks, they learn the reason why they are there and what they must do to survive.
From great performances by Cary Elwes, Danny Glover, Leigh Whannell and Tobin Bell as the mastermind, it's hard to see why critics mostly despised this movie. One of the better films in the series (if not, the best), I give it a great rating of 4/5.
