Review of Saving Silverman (2001) by Lee M — 12 May 2012
Darren Silverman (Jason Biggs) is about to marry Judith (Amanda Peet), a horrible and shrewish harpy of a woman. It's up to Silverman's buddies (Jack Black and Steve Zahn) to sabotage the relationship before it destroys his life.
Saving Silverman tries to be edgy, but its characters are annoying stereotypes and the humor is bluntly ineffective. I found the tedium of this film to be difficult to sit through.
