Review of Saving Mr. Banks (2013) by Adhamhany — 19 Apr 2014
It was great seeing how P.L. Travers and Walt Disney conflicted over how to bring her novel to the big screen. The excellent performances by Emma Thompson and Tom Hanks helped make this movie what it is.
The story progression is also something I enjoyed. I liked seeing a glimpse from P.L.'s past every now and then, and how it relates to her conflict with Disney.
It's a sentimental, touching, and charming film about being at peace with your past.
