Reviewed 6.29.18 It's a must see for fans of Mary Poppins, of which I am. Which leaves me wondering what this offers the uninitiated? Emma Thompson creates a complete character in the role of P.L. Travers, and Mr.
America, Tom Hanks, focuses on the softer side of Mr. Disney. Together, they expose the inspiration behind the cherished tales of the world's favorite flying nanny. And it isn't what you think.
Unfortunately the twist is in the title, but how they get there is a journey worth taking. Assuming you take your medicine with a spoonful of sugar.
