Review of Save the Tiger (1973) by Doron T — 11 Mar 2008
This picture's script is a classic example of the early 1970s' "the modern age is fucked" worldview, a worldview that may have been more rational in 1973 than it is today. (No offense to people who still feel that way.
) Because of this, it dates somewhat, and it would be a lie to say this picture doesn't contain a certain number of cliches. But nevertheless, it's a masterfully made film, and the performances are exceptional.
I highly recommend it.
