Review of Savages (2012) by Tyler S — 19 Aug 2013

I'm not entirely sure why there was so much disdain for this movie among critics and the audience. I was entertained for two hours and enjoyed the highs and lows of the movie. The pacing was good, considering the movie never indicated if it was going to offer a "shit will hit the fan" approach versus a continuous mayhem.

Characters were interesting enough and actually eventually found breadth and depth through the course of the movie. I would have very little issue recommending this movie to the average cinema-goer for a solid package.
