Review of Savages (2012) by William K — 15 Oct 2018

This is absolutely abysmal, a wet fart into the receding corridor of a sad old Director desperately trying to stay relevant. It seems Stone thinks the only way to do this is to chuck a bit of violence, sex and one of the most unnecessary rape plotlines at a steaming turd of a script.

The central trio of actors are rubbish and for some reason the only decent actors in the film Travolta, Hayek and Del Toro are given such abysmal cookie cut out character supporting roles that they all seem to be taking the piss with their performances.

Not one of those films that annoys you because it's bad, just one that bores you.
