Review of Savages (2006) by Andrew C — 26 May 2009
Hoffman and Linney, always so good whatever material they have to work with, are here very well served by a richly humanistic script that is warm and funny, and very touching. The writing is simple, which gives it a less showy aspect, letting the actors take of the job of making it work, which the entire cast do with aplomb.
