The movie really touches all those places in our emotions we try to hide. Real people with real problems. Dementia is tragic and is a very hard thing for a family to get through, as the movie portrays.
As referred to in the movie the dramatic jargon such as a epic theatre piece it doesn't let you really get too emotional but it lets you observe and analyze the characters and their situation.
