Review of Savages (2006) by Scott W — 22 Feb 2010
A very strong drama that certainly benefits from having Philip Seymour Hoffman and Laura Linney as the leads. Anyone that has had to care for aging relatives or seen relatives going through that can certainly relate.
There are some laughs but it's not intentional: scenes aren't played for a laugh. I wasn't crazy about the plot with Wendy and the married man. But from start to finish, definitely worth watching.
