Review of Savage Grace (2007) by Zane T — 07 Feb 2009
Rich heirs have it so rough. Going out to the nicest restaurants, living overseas in Nice and Paris and London. Not working, so they can sit around in gazebos drinking capucino and smokign cigarettes. Hanging out on the Mediterreanan beach, getting high, and ogling the beauties.
And to think, I should be grateful that I'm middle class. This movie is based on a true story, but I've seen this movie before when it was call Mi Mare. The only difference is the young son is eating Chinese food next to his mother's body rather than masturbating.
Based on the Baekeland murder in London in 1972, this is like Reversal of Fortune with incest, but I liked that movie better because it was well done. This movie is a lot of bad acting and Julianne Moore proving that she will do anything in a movie.
What's even worse is that I have to squint to read the titles at the end to find out what happened.
