Review of Savage Grace (2007) by Laimis Z — 07 Apr 2009

This guy Eddie Redmayne is one of the worst actors I've ever come across. If there were a better actor playing the part I might slightly, almost forgive the film for being a boring piece of shit. But he systematically takes it down to a whole other level of bad (remember that kid on the first episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark: "Ewww.. cool" in the same voice? He's that bad). Every time one of his narrations or just him talking or sulking came up- which in 2/3 of the film's running time is often- I cringed and laughed uncomfortably and wished him a slow, painful death off screen.

Julianne Moore is squandered here; you might as well save yourself and look to find the real story in a magazine and check it out instead.
