Review of Savage Grace (2007) by Laura M — 04 Jan 2010
Uneven and frequently unclear. It's essentially the plot to Running with Scissors with Mommy's "crazy" sequences replaced with incest. Julianne Moore gives more credit to the role than is present in the screenplay that made it to the final edit, but the acting definitely led up to the ending, which speaks to the talent and control both the main characters bring to what they do.
A slow burn, but it lost track of itself more than once.
