Review of Satyricon (1969) by Sean H — 07 May 2008

First time I saw this movie I disliked it quite a bit. I was extremely disappointed after having jumped into 8 1/2, La Dolce Vida, Toby Dammit, and Juliet of the Spirits.

Watching it more than once helps immensely, as well as learning a little bit about the time period. Once you've got a feel for what the movie is actually about, it becomes a much more enjoyable epic.
