Besides the dance sequences, the film is a total mess. I was bored the whole time. Sure, this is about a bunch of disillusioned kids, but they've got to have redeeming qualities, or at least something that makes them worth watching.
I don't know. This was apparently Gene Siskel's favorite film. Aim higher.
