Review of Saturday Night Fever (1977) by Isaac H — 04 Mar 2012
Why is this considered a classic? This movie is blatantly dated, and has not aged well since the seventies. Though well acted, none of the characters have any redeeming qualities, and the relationship between Tony and Stephanie is estranged and unconvincing.
Fever stands more as a testament to the pop culture of the seventies, and as a result, is irrelevant to the modern era.
