Review of Saturday Night Fever (1977) by Ollie D — 17 Aug 2008
Slice-of-life tale about a working-class young Brooklyn Italian-American who finds an escape from his mundane neighborhood existence at the local discotheque, where he is the king of the dance floor. This film was very good starring actor, John Travolta as Tony.
This film is one of the best musical films of the 1970's. I personally think that this is one of John Travolta's best film seeming that his role as Tony was good. John Badham's directing was great.
A good selection of themetunes to this film and the dance moves in this film were good. If you like John Travolta films and you like musical/dance films then you will definetly like this film. A must see for people who have not see it.
