Arthur Seaton is the quintessential angry young man. Too clever for his own good as my nan would say. Reckons he's going to do things differently but cocks it all up along the way and ends up caught in the system he's been battling against.
Rachel Roberts should be made a national treasure for her performances in this and 'This Sporting Life'.
