Review of Sarah's Key (2010) by William S — 17 Aug 2011
A very fine film that explores a historical event little dealt with before in cinema, the French nation's part in the deportation of hundreds of thousands of Jews in Vichy France. Scott Thomas is, again, brilliant and the unfolding narrative is skillfully rendered in a satisfyingly unshowy way.
