Review of Sarah's Key (2010) by Stephanie G — 21 Jan 2013
Well this was an unexpected surprise. Half in French and half in English we are presented with two timelines. One follows a Jewish family's plight in the Holocaust and one follows a modern day journalist investigating the past tenants of the flat she is renovating.
The story is extremely well executed, original and gripping. The leads all give great performances and the overriding sense of tragedy will remain with you afterwards.
