Review of Santa Sangre (1989) by Ryan M — 19 Apr 2011
Wow, this is an another movie that wowed me the heck out of me since Black Swan. I mean most of the scenes are pretty gory and violent that I think the most scariest killing I've ever seen in movies.
The scene that I'm talking about is when the lady pours an acid on the guy's dick and then the guy cuts the two hands of that lady and then the guy slits his throat, EWW!! But the opening is pretty much like a Pedro Almodovar and a Federico Fellini style of filmmaking.
And when it comes towards the end, it became like an alternate version of Hitchcock's Psycho in a way where the grown up son of that armless lady becomes the arms of his mother, and then realize after that the son is imagining his mother, meaning she is dead all the way through, HA? Confusing it is ehh.
You know what forget it, it is still a great f''''''g movie, it is probably one of the best films I've seen seriously.
