Review of Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (1964) by David S — 23 Dec 2008
Not even worth watching for its camp value, Santa Claus Conquers the Martians involves no conquering and less Santa Claus than you'd expect. When Santa does show up, he laughs maniacally nonstop. It's disturbing.
The Martians range from dullards to spazzes. Voldar, the warlike Martian, is the only voice of sanity in this mess, and even he gets stuck with retarded sidekicks in the end. Don't get me started on the theme song (Hooray for Santy Claus).
Guh.
