Review of Sans Soleil (1983) by Tibor B — 10 Sep 2007
Interesting, unclassifiable documentary bringing together voiceover musings on life the universe and everything, mixing thoughts on philosophy, anthropology with pop culture such as Pacman, Apocalypse Now, Japanese weirdness and Hitchcock's Vertigo.
Focuses on Japan, with a few diversions to Africa but this is an oddly universal feeling collection of audio / visual postcards.
