Review of Sans Soleil (1983) by Jon Q — 13 Nov 2007
It's so rare to find a "modern" film that is truly original - and Sans Soleil is one of those. It's not quite a documentary, but no narrative in a traditional sense. The hynoptic, monotonous narration is compelling, so much that it could well have perminantly damaged my brain without me realizing.
Even now 24 years old, this is still way ahead of its time.
