Review of Sans rancune ! (2009) by Veronica . — 30 Mar 2015
The story is written very well that one doesn't know that they are being enchanted by the characters in the film. Laurent (Milan Mauger), the protagonist is a man that is fixated on the character of his dead father who died when he was two.
Laurent is taken under the wing of his professor Vapuer (Thierry Lhermitte), who uncannily to Laurent, bears many traits of his deceased father. The vigor that gushes forth from this plot hook is enchanting and very curious.
I'd almost like to say that you'd be on tenterhooks to discover if Laurent's doubts could be true, but the pacing of this film doesn't let it get to that, but instead coaxes you into the relationship of Laurent with the people around him.
