Review of Sanctum (2011) by Hillary D — 22 Nov 2012
White knuckle stuff. Exploring deep deep caves and cave diving through narrow tunnels remind me of Steve Erwin playing with sting rays and other wild life. Fatalities happen to remind us God intends us to admire nature only from afar.
Best parts of this adrenaline filled film were the tender moments of Frank bonding with his son Josh while they navigated the dangerous caves and running out of air while underwater. Heart breaking scene when Josh was forced to put his Dad out of his pain.
Josh never knew his father until He found his father in the cave. And he was a great guy once he got to know him. Amazing climax. Quite a tear jerker.
