I think the only vehicle Dwayne Johnson doesn't drive in this movie is a train. Pretty much the same type of story as The Day After Tomorrow where a parent has to go rescue their kid during a natural disaster.
With San Andreas, it is so scientifically inaccurate it almost makes it less fun to watch. The beginning of the movie also was hilarious and I don't think it was supposed to be. It was essentially a PSA saying that if you text and drive, a rock slide will knock you off a cliff, so watch it.
.. But not this movie. Don't watch this movie.
