The ridiculous cliches and set piece script are a given in a disaster film but this one is really bad. That said, if you have never lived through a significant earthquake, this film could be for you. If you have lived through a serious earthquake, this film will make you a little bit sick in your mouth.
.. But mostly over the screen.
