Review of Salmon Fishing in the Yemen (2012) by Andy W — 16 Sep 2012
A comfy, "nice" film which has an interesting premise, but walks a precarious line with a slightly iffy love story which never seems to settle itself in the correct way. McGregor and Blunt do well, but Scott Thomas is unfortunately saddled with an ultra-annoying character that hi-jacks proceedings whenever she's on screen, damaging the reality of the story's world.
Enjoyable in a slightly cheesey way.
