Review of Salmon Fishing in the Yemen (2012) by Ian G — 11 Oct 2012

Tamara and I watched this a couple nights ago and we both really liked it. The love story is wrapped around a really strange sort of side story of introducing salmon to the country Yemen. The story itself is really predictable.

I called how it would all go about 15 minutes in, and sure enough, it went just how I called it. But Ewan McGregor and Emily Blunt are such entertaining actors that I didn't mind how predictable it was at all.

There are some deeper meanings and morals woven into the story as well, and I enjoyed those. Good movie.
