I tried to find something to knock it down. Acting, writing, cinematography, anything that makes it less than 5-stars. But, no, everything in this movie works. And works perfectly. Not a rom-com, not a feel-good, not a drama, yet it has the best elements of all three.
Charming and delightful, this movie is one of the best movies I've seen this year. Thomas is great, Blunt is a little underused but only slightly, and I don't think McGregor is capable of a bad performance.
Highly recommended for teens and up.
