Review of Salmon Fishing in the Yemen (2012) by Martin B — 11 Jan 2013

This is very much a Sunday afternoon film. It strolls along at a leisurely pace with enough humour to keep you engaged but not slapstick are rip roaring belly laughs. It's an old cliche but for those of us who read the novel this won't be quite as satisfying an experience as the book was.

But at the same time it won't be a complete disappointment.
