As an exploration on faith, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen doesn't really work, and the story is a little too tidily tied-up in the end. But as a gentle, sometimes funny, sometimes poignant comedy-drama, it's very watchable and acted with quiet care by Ewan McGregor and Emily Blunt.
