Despite fine performances by the very likable stars Emily Blunt and Ewan McGregor (as well as co-stars Amr Waked and Kristin Scott Thomas) and beautiful landscapes, SFITY unfortunately did not swim against the current to rise above the familiar storyline of a feel good, schmaltzy rom-com flick, reminiscent of 'Chocolat'.
