Salmon Fishing in the Yemen is not going to win any awards for subtle analogy, biting satire or special effects, but this is not a total disaster. The chemistry between Blunt and Mcgregor hits at least a seven, and watching Kristin Scott Thomas do a passable Malcolm Tucker impression provides a token few laughs.
