Another documentary masterpiece by the Maysles brothers, "Salesman" lets us take a look into the world of the travelling salesman of yesteryear. The subjects are endearing, so much so that you really feel their pain when they don't make the sale.
Both heartwarming and utterly depressing, "Salesman" is a wonderful artifact of a dead profession.
