Very different from traditional arthouse geisha movies. The colours are so bright and garish, I felt dizzy. But the movie does have its own appeal. A curious mixture of the old and the modern. And lots of fine Japanese actors and actresses.
This was the first time for me to see Anna Tsuchiya.
